Lionel Messi has made it clear that he will make any decisions regarding his career after the World Cup. The Argentine superstar has already announced that Qatar will be the last World Cup in which he will take part.
Messi will take part in the World Cup for the fifth time. In 2014, at a tournament in Brazil, Argentina reached the final, but lost to Germany.
Messi’s contract with PSG expires this season. However, there is an option to extend for another year.
The football player made it clear that he would make any decisions about his career after the World Cup. “Sometimes I wish I was 25 and had my whole career ahead of me again. It will depend on how I feel personally and especially physically. After this World Cup, we will see what can happen with a career. I already have a chance to get to this world championship at the age of 35. You have to be realistic, I feel very good physically, better than last year. Mentally and physically,” the Argentine told DirectTV.
