The online application “iHidro”, launched on Monday by Hidroelectrica, was suspended after just one day after several complaints related to errors. Call center operators say the checks are being carried out after there were several reports of customer data being tampered with. In several cases, after installation, someone else’s data appeared with other names, phone numbers and addresses.
The deadline for the correction of errors is unknown. Immediately after the launch of the application, some of the company’s customers complained about various errors on social networks. In addition to data confusion, there have also been complaints in some cases that users are not receiving an activation link via email. Other customers were told that accounts already existed in their names. There were also users who complained that there was no way to specify a second place of consumption.
There are also users who have managed to install their app but find that they cannot use it for payments. According to representatives of Hidroelectrica, this is a function that is not yet available, as it is necessary to go through the public procurement procedure to obtain it.
On Monday, Hidroelectrica sent a press release announcing the launch of the iHidro mobile application.
Hidroelectrica program functions
- Consumption monitoring: on the main page of the application, customers can check their current balance and view the last bill issued. They can also access the consumption history graph section and report the auto reading index for better energy consumption management.
- Management of points of consumption: with iHidro, customers can manage all points of consumption for which they have a contract. In this way, they can monitor and control energy consumption for multiple addresses in a convenient and efficient way.
The iHidro program is divided into several sections, including:
- Billing: Billing and payment history is available here.
- Usage: In this section, you can enter the self-reading index and view the consumption history.
- My Account: In this section, customers can manage their profiles and personal data.
- Services: a link to Hidroelectrica’s customer portal is available in this section, and a link to Q Desk – an application for managing complaints and messages – will be added soon.
