For several months, the price of fuel was the highest, and unfortunately, the situation is not improving. In fact, it now costs almost two euros per liter of petrol or diesel, regardless of the service station. There are many reasons, such as falling production and high demand, but very high taxation is currently the main one. Indeed, one must remember that taxes are similar VAT and TICPE is 60% of the price of a liter at the moment. And this is unlikely to change for a long time.
Due to the 30-cent discount on the price of fuel, there was a shortage of supplies at many gas stations. https://t.co/SzgziQKxfm

Strong criticism
Indeed, the government still flatly refuses to revise its strategy and reduce taxes on petrol and diesel. On the contrary, he prefers to ask distributors to make an effort and issue a check for 100 euros, which will arrive only next year. Which is largely insufficient for the French, as well as for Marion Marechal. The latter attacks the government and sharply criticizes its strategy. She explains that “today, with every serious fuel difficulty, we will think about check or bonus contest“.
Return the money
The vice president of the party, Erika Zemmura, believes that “instead of thinking about whether the government is giving us back little of what it has taken from us, we could think about whether it is taking less from us“. For a politician the price of a barrel is $90 each today, at the same price as 10 years ago. 10 years ago, the price of fuel was 1.50 euros, and today it is 2 euros. The only thing that has changed is the level of taxes. The main part of the fuel price is made up of taxes levied by the state“.
