Intrakat is strengthening its presence in construction and real estate, especially in the luxury tourism sector, as the new management wants to benefit from the group’s experience in this sector. The acquisition of the Apanema Resort in Mykonos is part of this context. This is an investment of 10.6 million euros for the acquisition of a property of 1544 sqm located in the Tagu area of ​​Mykonos city, in close proximity to the city center and the port. Intrakat is starting to upgrade the existing beds, as well as the facility as a whole, so that it can appeal to the appropriate public, possibly also from the next summer tourist season.

He bought the Apanema resort for 10.6 million euros. On which islands does he start investing.

At the same time, according to the information, the management of Intrakat is also considering a number of new steps of an appropriate investment nature in such island destinations as Santorini, Paros, Syros, Crete, Mykonos, as well as in the market of Athens. It is recalled that the company already has in its portfolio the Branco Mykonos hotel, as well as the MET34 block on Mitropoleos and Xenodocheio Milos streets, near the Old Parliament, on the territory of the Army Capital Fund, which began its work only at the beginning of the year. At the same time, in Mykonos, the company starts construction of a residential complex with 200 beds in Ano Mera. This particular project is expected to begin licensed maturation soon and will be addressed to the workers of Mykonos businesses, attempting to provide a solution to a vital problem that hotels and medical facilities (restaurants and bars) especially face during the summer months, i.e. the accommodation of their employees.

It should be noted that Intrakat is also present in Mykonos as a developer, having undertaken the construction of a tourist complex, jointly developed by London & Regional Properties and the investment vehicle Amicross Ltd., in the amount of 67 million euros. , which in the past has been associated with Russian investment interests. The project concerns the construction of a luxury hotel complex and tourist villas in the area of ​​Kalo Livadi, Mykonos. This is a project in which the Intracom Holdings group participated as an investor with a 50% share, from which, however, it withdrew capital in the amount of 32.4 million euros about a year ago.

In Athens, Intrakat is also completing a renovation project for an office building on Hippocratus Street during this period. The property has an area of ​​7,300 sq.m. it has been energetically upgraded to function as green. Intrakat has signed a 20-year lease (with an option to renew for another 20 years) from the Investment Services Guarantee Fund, which is also the owner. The Capital Market Commission has already agreed to move into the nine-story building as a tenant occupying approximately 80% of the total area. The amount of investments for the reconstruction of the property and the implementation of work on the modernization of the energy sector is 4.5 million euros.
