Eugenie Bouchard wants to return to Romania

Having reached the 443rd place in the WTA ranking, Bouchard lasted one set on the court (she lost 6-3 to the second favorite BTArena player Angelina Kalinina).

Evgenia quickly dropped out of school, claiming that she had physical problems.

“I’m disappointed to end the Romanian tour like this because I really enjoyed being here in Cluj. A few days ago I was doing a hip flexor stretch in training.

I tried to be as ready as possible for this match. I had an MRI and the results were good, so I thought I could play. But it got worse during the match.

So to avoid a more serious injury, I thought it best to retire. I hate to retire and I would like to travel Romania well. But I hope to return here” – Eugenie Bouchard.

28-year-old Bouchard had a career best a few seasons ago. She played in the final of Wimbledon in 2014 (losing to Petra Kvitova) and also reached the semi-finals of Roland Garros in the same season.

He was as high as 5th in the world ranking (October 20, 2014) and so far he has won $6,739,473 in tennis prize money alone.

In recent seasons, Evgenia has been more known for her appearances and posts on social networks.
