Naval forces of Revolutionary Guard seized a Marshall Islands-flagged tanker in the Gulf of Oman while the oil tanker was in international waters, the US Navy said and Iranian state television reported.
“The oil tanker Advantage Sweet issued a distress signal at the time of its arrest,” the U.S. Fifth Fleet, based in Bahrain, said in a statement. American P.N. noted that he is monitoring the situation.
