Ministry of Foreign Affairs to depart and begin assessing pipeline faults.

“The whole question is to have access to our ships, which should have the right of way (in the area of the incidents),” Novak told reporters, referring to Moscow’s efforts to investigate pipeline damage.

Yesterday Russia announced that it had summoned diplomats from Germany, Denmark and Sweden to protest against the fact that it was not invited to take part in the investigation of leaks in gas pipelines running from Russia to Russia, Europe.

Sweden has previously turned down requests from Russian authorities to join the investigation or share any findings.
