Toni Nadal worries about the career of his nephew Rafa

In an interview with the Majorca Daily Bulletin, Toni Nadal said that the arrival of a child could change the priorities of Rafa, who will find it difficult to stay away from his family.

“He will be a great father, but he may not be as great as an athlete. He will do it normally. He is no different from others, because all football players and many others have children and continue their careers without problems.

When he has to go to Australia for the first time, it will be hard for him to be away from home, but at the end of the day, that’s the price you have to pay when you’re a professional athlete.

It could have been a great season, but it was marred by his constant woes. The results were good because he won in Australia and at Roland Garros, but you are left with a bitter taste.

At Wimbledon, he failed to reach the semi-finals when he was playing well and was a clear contender for the title; New York also had problems. Above all, an athlete wants to be good and play, as well as win” – Tony Nadalquoted by Eurosport.

Rafael Nadal, the first father

Last Saturday, Rafael Nadal experienced one of the happiest moments of his life: at the age of 36, the Iberian became the father of a little boy, reports Marca.

Francisca Maria Perello (34 years old) gave birth in Palma de Mallorca, and the child will bear the name of the great Iberian champion: Rafael Nadal Perello.

Recently, Rafa was not fully focused on the competitions in which he participated (US Open and Laver Cup), he was worried about the health of his wife, who was hospitalized several times.

Nadal and Perello have been together for 18 years and got married in October 2019.
