According to the Turkish President, Erdogan told his Russian counterpart that his country could play a mediating role regarding the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant in Ukraine.

Putin and Erdogan also discussed the development of Ukrainian grain exports and expressed their determination to continue the construction of the Akuyu nuclear power plant in Turkey, as planned, according to the Turkish presidency.
