ISU Iaşi intervened on Friday to put out a fire that broke out in the salon of the Iaşi Cancer Screening and Diagnostic Center, News.ro reports.
“The fire has been extinguished, it started on a medical device located in an office on the 1st floor,” the ISU of Iasi reported.
ISU Iași said that the electrical extension cord that was feeding the medical device had burned out.
“Among the 8 patients on the first floor of the building (building P+1), only 4 will be transferred to another building of the institute for continued treatment, as the electricity has been cut off in this area,” the ISU Iasi also clarified. .
