“For 28 days, until December 27, the people of Bucharest will enjoy here a fairyland with spectacular lights and decorations, a panoramic wheel, an ice rink, a carousel, Santa’s house, an elf workshop, concerts, traditional culinary masterpieces and many, many surprises,” the organizers said.
The Westside Christmas Market is the first Christmas market to open in the capital. On the first evening, festive lights will be lit, fireworks and a Fuego concert will be organized.
“The Christmas market in Sector 6 is the most beautiful, most decorated and with the most beautiful Christmas atmosphere. And it is completely self-financing. The main attractions of the fair will be: an ice rink, colorful carousels and a children’s train, a 38-meter panoramic wheel, more than 65 stalls that will present traditional dishes, mulled wine, hot chocolate, jewelry and gifts made by craftsmen. sold from all over the country.
Santa’s House will be open every day of the fair, Monday through Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on weekends from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. On December 1, Santa’s House will open an hour earlier, i.e. at 3:00 p.m.
In the Elf Workshop, located at the entrance to Drumul Taberey Park, children can take part in activities organized by DGASPC Sector 6 – these are workshops on writing greetings for Santa, painting, making globes, garlands, decorations. The schedule of the workshop is daily from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. On Wednesday, November 29, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., a master class on writing greetings for Santa Claus will be held.
