Kim Min-jae has passed a medical examination and will sign a contract with Bayern Munich

Kim Min-jae was brought in by Napoli from Fenerbahce last summer for just €18.05 million and the defender has quickly made his presence felt in the defense of Luciano Spalletti’s outfit.

The South Korean has been one of the most important players for the Serie A champions and his performances have caught the attention of several big-name clubs in Europe.

Newcastle United and then Manchester United came close to offloading the 26-year-old, but he was eventually persuaded by Bayern Munich.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Kim Min-jae has already passed a medical examination and will be officially presented by Bayern in the coming days.

Kim Min-jae will sign a contract until the summer of 2028, and in exchange “Bayern” will pay 55 million euros.
