After countless adjournments, Simona Halep was finally heard by the Sport Resolutions tribunal in London in the context of the doping scandal at the US Open 2022.

The Romanian woman will soon receive a verdict on this matter, and Bianca Andreescu sent her an encouraging message.

Jenson Brooksby was recently suspended by the International Tennis Integrity Agency for failing three anti-doping tests in 12 months.

2021 US Open winner Daniil Medvedev intervened in Simona’s doping case and stressed that the amount of the banned substance should also be taken into account at the hearing.

“You can see there are several players, I don’t want to mention their names. But you see they have five milligrams of a banned substance and even the Anti-Doping Agency says that in some cases it can’t affect their results.” Daniil Medvedev said.

The holder of the 3rd place in the ATP hierarchy also commented on the case of Jenson Brooksby, who received a temporary suspension for 3 missed anti-doping tests.

“Regarding the Brooksby thing, I heard from my coaches that he said he didn’t knock on that door or anything.

I personally missed two tests at one point. It is not easy.
