Andrea Compagno and Octavian Popescu unavailable for match against FC U Craiova 1948

FCSB will start a new race for the Superliga title as the team coached by Elias Haralambous will travel to Tirgu Giu in the first round to face FC U Craiova 1948.

The match will take place here due to the replacement of the lawn at the “Ion Oblemenko” stadium.

FCSB will not be able to use Andrea Compagno and Octavian Popescu for the match against Olten.

The former, who was also the red and blue’s top scorer in the previous season, cannot be used due to a special clause that exists in the contract between FC U Craiova 1948 and FCSB.

In the case of Octavian Popescu, he will be suspended for a late red card in FCSB’s 5-1 loss to Rapid.

Last season FC “Krayova 1948” and FCSHB met twice. In the match in Ban, FCSB won with a score of 2-0 (authors: Dava and Oct. Popescu), and in the match in Bucharest – 1-1 (authors: Tamm and Compagno).
