The US leader, who held a press conference following the results of the G7 summit in Japan, on Friday gave the green light to other countries to supply Ukraine with American-made fighter jets, which Kyiv has been asking for for a long time.

At the same time, Biden told reporters that the F-16 would still be able to be used “wherever there are Russian troops in Ukraine.”

For his part, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that he is confident that his country will receive the F-16 aircraft necessary to repel the Russian invasion. (Agerpress)
