
A violent fight that ended in a stabbing broke out on Tuesday afternoon (September 5) between two Palestinians in the Phenicia area of Heraklion.
Two 25-year-olds working in the same business got into a fight outside their workplace just before 7 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. The situation got out of control, they got into a fight, after which one of them allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the other in the neck, luckily injuring him slightly, police sources told ERT.
The police were notified of the bloody incident and the alleged perpetrator was arrested soon after. The victim and attacker were taken to the hospital and discharged after first aid. The defendants were prosecuted for stabbing with dangerous bodily harm and violating weapons laws.
As the victim told the police, the detainee stole 100 euros from his wallet. This amount was not discovered during the police investigation.
