It persists today bad weather this has been affecting the country for the last 24 hours, although in most parts of the country the phenomena are not expected to be as intense as yesterday.

Weather: Highly cloudy with local rain or sleet, and sporadic coastal storms. The effects will be strong places early in the morning in Thrace.

Snowfall will occur in mountainous and semi-mountainous areas, as well as in areas of relatively low altitude, which will be thick in places during the early morning hours in Thrace (estimated altitude 500-600 meters and above).

Winds: northerly from 3 to 5 on the Beaufort scale.

Temperature: From 00 (zero) to 08 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia it is 2-3 degrees lower.

Weather: Cloudy with occasional showers and occasional thunderstorms.

Snowfall will occur in the continental semi-mountainous regions, in Epirus (estimated height 500-600 meters and above) and in Western Sterea (estimated height 800-900 meters and above).

Winds: From the north from the south and from the south from the west from 3 to 5 on the Beaufort scale.

Temperature: 06 to 14 degrees Celsius. In the hinterland of Epirus it is 4 to 5 degrees lower.

Weather: Clouds with local rain, storms and local hail, which will be strong in places until morning in the eastern islands of the Aegean and until noon in the Dodecanese.

FORECAST FOR TOMORROW SATURDAY

Clouds with rain and sporadic storms are predicted for the Cyclades, the islands of the eastern Aegean, the Dodecanese and Crete, the phenomena will weaken from noon. In the rest of the country, cloudiness temporarily increased with local rains, mainly in the north.

Small snowfalls will fall in the continental highlands, as well as in the semi-mountainous regions of the northern country.

The wind will blow from the west to the northwest from 3 to 4 points and from the east from the northern directions from 3 to 5 points, and from noon in the northern Aegean Sea temporarily up to 6 points on the Beaufort scale.

The temperature will not noticeably change. Frosts will be observed in the continental regions in the morning and evening hours, in the north-west in some places they will be severe.

FORECAST FOR SUNDAY

In eastern Sterea, Peloponnese, the southern part of the Ionian and the southern part of the Aegean, clouds with rain and local thunderstorms. The rest of the country was temporarily overcast with sporadic rainfall, mostly in the north.

Light snowfalls will fall in the mountains and possibly also in the semi-mountainous regions of the northern country.

The wind will blow from the north from 3 to 5 and from noon locally to 6 on the Beaufort scale.

The temperature will drop. Frosts will be observed in the continental regions in the morning and evening hours, in the north-west in some places they will be severe.

FORECAST FOR MONDAY

In the east and south of the country, cloudiness has temporarily increased, in some places it will rain and some thunderstorms are possible with a gradual improvement. In the west of the country there will be local clouds that will gradually increase, and in the evening there will be local rains, and in the south – individual thunderstorms. Light snowfalls will fall in the mountains and possibly also in the semi-mountainous regions of the northern country.

The wind will blow from the north direction with a force of 3-5, and in the morning hours with a force of 6 on the Beaufort scale.

Temperatures will drop in the north. In continental regions, frosts will be observed in the morning and evening hours.

FORECAST FOR TUESDAY

Partly cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in the west, center and south, intensifying from noon. Snowfall will be both in the continental highlands and in the semi-mountainous regions of the northern country.

The wind will blow due west from the north at 4 to 6, and from noon gradually from 7 to 8 on the Beaufort scale. In the east from northern directions from 3 to 5 and in the evening in the Aegean Sea local 6 points on the Beaufort scale.

The temperature will not noticeably change. In continental regions, frosts will be observed in the morning and evening hours.

FORECAST FOR WEDNESDAY

Temporarily increased cloudiness and rains and thunderstorms will take place in the central, eastern and southern regions. The effects will gradually disappear. Snowfall will occur in the continental highlands, as well as in the semi-mountainous regions of the northern and central parts of the country.

The wind will blow from the north with a force of 5-7 Beaufort and in some places 8 Beaufort at sea with a gradual weakening from the west.

The temperature will drop. In continental regions, frosts will be observed in the morning and evening hours.
