
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that investigators have uncovered more than 400 Russian war crimes and found the bodies of soldiers and civilians in the areas of the Kherson region liberated from Russian occupation, Reuters reports.
“Investigators have already documented more than 400 war crimes committed by Russians. The bodies of dead civilians and soldiers have been found,” Zelensky said in his evening video address.
According to him, “stabilization and restoration of law and order” have been established in 226 settlements, where more than 100,000 people live, and arrests of Russian soldiers and mercenaries are also taking place.
Fighting in Donetsk remains intense
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi also stated that the fighting in the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine is as intense as it has been in recent days, and Russian attacks are continuing.
“The fighting in Donetsk region is as intense as in previous days,” Zelenskyy said.
“The level of Russian attacks has not decreased. And the level of resilience and courage is the highest. We will not allow them to break through our defenses.”
