
From the 80s to today, Mr. P.O.F.P.A. leads a consistent activity that has led to the creation of a community dedicated to arts and culture.
With a fixed meeting point in Iris, it is now the cinematographic, photographic and theatrical sector. Cultural Club of Students of the University of Athens join forces to organize “Iris Visions”, festival with numerous artistic performances that start Saturday, November 12 and will continue until January 2023.
In the program “Irida Visions” you will find showings of famous films, the presence of their creators. They will go at the same time photo exhibitions, musical events, master classes of artists and film technicians, as well as presentations of works by famous photographers.
All Iris Visions events will have duty-free import. Most of these will take place at the Iris building in Hippocrates, however Iris Visions events will also take place outside of the university club. For example, the POFAPA photo sector within the framework of the festival will present project exhibition, in the cultural center of the municipality of Galati Kamini. The exhibition will include photographs of the participants and will be organized from 20 to 26 November.
Most of the festival consists of screenings of films by famous and distinguished Greek directors, which will be held in their presence.
Approximately some of the shows that will be held within the framework of “Iris Visions”:
saturday november 12, The festival starts with a special event. The film is presented in the anniversary screening on 35 mm film. “King” by Nikos Grammatikos, which marks 20 years since its premiere. Screening is done in conjunction with Midnight Express. Artistic director of Midnight Express and film critic Akis Kapranos will also be in attendance.

Her Sunday, December 4 take his master class Rafael Ramirez Pupo with the title “Pabellon de Melancolicos”.
