The Bucharest Transport Society (STB) announced on Saturday that it has launched the YouthTB program, designed for students attending educational institutions in the capital and Ilfov to receive a free travel card.
STB notes that this, in addition to eliminating the hitherto bureaucratic procedure through which students could issue travel tickets, also reduces the traffic jams that were created in sales centers every year at the beginning of school.
The new program allows you to get travel tickets valid during the academic year on all land public transport lines in the Bucharest – Ilfov region, regardless of the transport operator.
To use the free subscription, the user must be a student at an accredited educational institution in Bucharest or Ilfov County. Confirmation of student status occurs automatically through the application, based on the KNP filled in during account registration.
