Ana Bohdan, a three-set win over Alicia Parks

American Parks (ranked 51st in the world) started the match much better and won the first match 6-1, but Bohdan prevailed, winning the next sets 6-3, 6-2. The game lasted an hour and 40 minutes.

Ana (57 WA) played a safe game, did not take too many risks and took advantage of her opponent’s numerous mistakes (33, and the Romanian only 12).
