Three “boxes” remained open in the last round of the most exciting Superleague 1 the last (many) years, with a clear picture everywhere: one of the two teams of three pairs plays for two results in order to achieve its goal, and the other without fail pursues only for victory. There will be four of these games only if AEK is defeated in the title match. Only in this way will the Panathinaikos-Aris match make sense, when the Greens look in this (fantastic) scenario exclusively to win in order to become champions!

AEK welcomes Volos to a packed and… eager Hagia Sophia, and he just needs a draw against the weakest team in the playoffs to claim the title. Will Volos, who has eight defeats in a row, be able to ruin such a big party, which was thrown by 35,000 AEK fans inside the stadium and no less around it? It is highly unlikely that something like this will happen, so the match between Panathinaikos and Ari is expected to be procedural.

The third match of the playoffs is essentially the most interesting, albeit not a decisive title. PAOK salutes Olympiacos and only wants a win to take 3rd place which gives (of course them) a ticket to the Europa League even if they lose the Cup to AEK. On the other hand, Olympiacos needs to remain undefeated at Toumba to finish third in the league, but even if they do, they won’t secure a Europa League spot. If PAOK wins the Cup, the Red-Whites and 3rd place will play alongside Ahri in the Conference League.
