The MLS announced that the complaint against Brigadier Food was not upheld. The US Football League has given the green light to the Greek striker to return to DC United games.
The Greek footballer was accused of racist slurs against an opponent during DC United’s match against Inter Miami in September. In the 62nd minute of the match, the 27-year-old former football player Aek allegedly called the Jamaician Damian Lowe “Negro.”
Two players testified in this case. In this case, all audiovisual materials available to the competent authorities were used.
The relevant MLS committee was unable to confirm that the Greek footballer attacked his opponent on racial grounds. “The league’s investigation may not confirm the allegations, but it did not find credible Fuda’s position in his apology, where he claimed that he did not say anything to his opponent about the incident,” the corresponding message says.
Miami Heat defenseman Aimé Mabika has accused DC United star Taxi Funtas of using the “n” word during the incident with Damion Lowe in the second half. Lowe, Jamaican, and Mabika, Zambian, black. Fontas, Greek, white. https://t.co/WMAACuzmmi
