Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent a congratulatory letter to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on the occasion of the March 25 national holiday.
In addition to wishing the Prime Minister and the Greek people, in his letter, the President of Turkey expresses gratitude to the government and the Greek people for their solidarity after the devastating February earthquakes.
“I am convinced that relations and cooperation between our countries will continue to develop thanks to our joint efforts in the coming period,” said Tayyip Erdogan.
And he concludes: “I would like to take this opportunity to once again wish you health and well-being, as well as health and well-being to the entire Greek people.”
Letter to Cavusoglu Dendias
Reminds me as previously reported by “K”that a similar step was taken by Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, who sent a similar letter to his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias.
In addition to wishes for March 25, the Turkish Foreign Minister notes in a letter that he is confident that the good neighborly relations that currently exist between Greece and Turkey will be strengthened in the future. At the same time, he states that he is determined to further contribute to the current positive momentum that prevails in bilateral relations between Greece and Turkey.
Finally, Mr. Cavusoglu once again thanks the Greek government and the Greek people for the solidarity and assistance given to Turkey after the devastating earthquakes.
It should be noted that with today’s tweet, the Turkish Embassy in Athens congratulated the Greek people and the Greek government on the national anniversary of March 25th.
