After strict statements from State Department as well as European Unionand Germany doesn’t recognize her Agreement between Turkey and Libya hydrocarbons and the delimitation of EEZs between them.

“We know this from civil law as well. No two can agree, this is mine, this is for you, this is for someone else. In the event that the two states conclude an agreement at the expense of Greece, Greece will not be bound by them, ”said the representative of the German Foreign Ministry.

And he concluded, noting that he would return to this issue after a detailed assessment: “The agreement has no legal force. It is a basic principle of international law that two states cannot conclude such an agreement at the expense of a third state.”
