
“Last Goodbye” Stop Kokota Relatives, friends and fans said Wednesday afternoon. A memorial service was held at the Zografu cemetery.
The popular singer passed away last Saturday at the age of 85. He was admitted to the Asclepion of Voula.
Touching was the funeral speech of his son Dimitris, who, among other things, said: “You were an amazing father. You loved us so much. You have given us a lot of love. Wife, our mother, the second wife of the Gospel, his children.”
“He was a biofighter, extended his hand, gave money, took care of the soul, did charity work, built temples and orphanages. He cheated death,” he said and added: “Stamatis will always be here for me, he will definitely live in the hearts of all of us. In our thoughts we will listen to him, he will always be here to support us.”
“He had a kind word for everyone and considered everyone his loved ones and friends,” he said.
