The USR is asking President Klaus Iohannis to re-send the whistleblower law back to parliament as Romania risks running out of European money from the Resilience and Recovery Plan, union leader Catalin Drula said on Wednesday.
He also noted that the decision of the Constitutional Court to give the green light to the controversial law is not a surprise, considering that it is headed by the man Ion Iliescu.
“Due to the desire of Marcel Çolaku, Klaus Iohannis and Nicolae Cuke to restore justice and eliminate the voices that report corruption, Romania risks running out of money in the PNRR, as announced by the head of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office, Laura. Codruța Koveși”, also says the president of USR.
The message of the leader of the Ukrainian SSR in full:
- I am asking President Klaus Iohannis to urgently return the law on whistleblowers to parliament.
- In its current form, the law prevents the disclosure of corrupt practices and risks leaving Romania without European money.
- Today the Central Committee decided to reject the report on the UDR. Nothing surprising from the CCR, led by former councilor Ion Iliescu.
- Due to the desire of Marcel Çolaku, Klaus Iohannis and Nicolae Chuke to restore justice and eliminate voices reporting corruption, Romania risks running out of money in the PNRR, as announced by the head of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office, Laura Codruca. buckets
- I warn the coalition that it cannot violate the rule of law without consequences.
- I again call on the PSD-PNL-UDMR to stop this assault.
- Romania needs European money for hospitals, schools and highways, European money for the development of Romania.
