
Minister of Foreign Affairs Bohdan Aurescu announced on Wednesday at the government meeting that new career consular offices have been opened in Chisinau, Madrid and Rome.
“We can inform you that this year the consulates general in Chisinau, Madrid and Rome started working; In addition, a consulate in Melbourne was also launched last year, and in the next period, namely in August, the Consulate General in London and Paris will be launched. Also, in the second half of the year, the Consulate General in Nantes and, accordingly, the Consulate in Belfast, respectively, the Consulate General in Salzburg, until the end of the year,” Aurescu said at the government meeting.

The minister also said that Bangladesh has organized a visiting consular mission in Dhaka, which has issued more than 5,400 work visas. The ministry is also preparing a similar mission in Nepal because “Bangladesh, Nepal, India are the most important sources of foreign labor,” Aurescu said.
