This message has caused more than 200,000 people to go to the certficat-covid.gov.ro platform between yesterday and today to get a new certificate, fearing that they will no longer be able to use their certificate.
In Romania, vaccination certificates can be used until the end of the year. For those individuals whose certificates have expired, they can renew their certificate at any time.
Although they were used in Romania a few months ago, they are currently only useful outside the country, depending on each country’s rules. If you plan to travel, it’s important to check each state’s regulations.
