Ten months after cinematographer Galina Hutchins was accidentally shot and killed on the set of the western Rust, an FBI investigation confirms that actor Alec Baldwin did indeed pull the trigger.

According to this report, published by the American channel ABC, quoted by news.ro, “a functional revolver cannot be used without pulling the trigger.”

In December 2021, Alec Baldwin assured that he did not pull the trigger of the revolver he was holding when Galina Hutchins was shot on the set of Rusty, the western producer of which he is also a producer.

“The trigger was not pulled. I didn’t pull the trigger,” he told ABC in an interview, before adding that he had “no idea” how the gun could have been loaded with live ammunition.

“I would never point a gun at someone by pulling the trigger. Never,” said Alec Baldwin.

According to an FBI report, New Mexico authorities have ruled Galina Hutchins’ death an “accident.”
