SPV is still working hard and I don’t understand why they can’t build big servers so you don’t have to wait 5 minutes for that circle to spin on your computer screen so you can instantly log into various programs that ANAF has stated Lucian Geiusz, former chairman of ANAF, current vice-president of the Chamber of Accounts, during an event organized by FACIAS.
“I know why: we are technically not ready to have them. We must have them. (…) We have to reach a situation where the speed with which you can log in through any program that the government gives you is instantaneous, as it is in any private banking environment,” he said.
He also talked about what is happening on the 25th of the month with the SPV.
“The 25th comes (no month) and if it happens that there are more than 15,000 hits at the same time, I know for sure that the server goes down, it goes down. You have to unlock it. There are known technical issues and they need to be addressed,” he said.
According to him, it is not ANAF’s fault.
“CNIF (which deals with IT part no.) reports to the Ministry of Finance. MF plays a very important role and throws stones in ANAF. ANAF does not even have an IT department. Everything is provided by this CNIF. This is where the big problem is with the digitalization of the Ministry of Finance, with all its subordinates,” Geiusz also noted.
