
On Friday, the government accepted the reduction of 9 management positions in the Ministry of Digitalization from 39 positions to 30 management positions in accordance with the act of reorganization initiated by the Minister of Digitalization Bohdan Ivan. Also, the size of the departments was changed on the recommendations of the Auditors of the Accounting Chamber through relocation, so control activities and anti-corruption strategy remain organized at the service level.
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and New Technologies, respectively the Department of IT and Cybersecurity, were created to harmonize new legislative changes in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), digitization, digital transformation and cybersecurity, as well as European regulations with current legislation.
The total number of positions is 358, excluding dignitaries and their positions.
