“Symbioz presents a new brand design. The new SUV is Renault’s most compact hybrid in the C segment, its length is only 4.41 m,” the French say.

For comparison, the Austral SUV is 4.51 meters long, and the Arkana SUV is 4.56 meters long. The Captur model has a length of 4.23 meters.

The French press writes that the model will be presented in April and released to the market in the fall. In 2017, Renault presented a concept car called Symbioz.

The Symbioz will have a new generation of panoramic roofs with blackout technology. The car will weigh less than 1,500 kg and will have a full hybrid E-Tech engine with a capacity of 145 hp.

What does Symbiosis mean? “Symbiosis sounds like the French term ‘symbiose’, which in turn comes from the ancient Greek word ‘symbiosis’, meaning ‘to live together’, a value deeply rooted in Renault’s DNA and expressed through the concept of ‘voitures à to live’. It is a word that is similar in many languages: ‘symbiosis’ in English, ‘simbiose’ in Spanish and ‘simbiosi’ in Italian, making the name Symbioz easily understood by a wide audience,” said Renault representatives.
