​Until February 1, 2024, any high school student from Bucharest with a passion for technology can register online to participate in the third competition organized by ASUS Romania in partnership with the School Inspectorate of the Municipality of Bucharest.

The competition “ASUS Learn and Compete 2024” continues the tradition of popularizing digital skills among young people: the first three winners, together with their teacher-coordinators, are awarded ASUS laptops.

Registration is free and available on the website asuschallenge.ro until February 1, 2024, through teachers-coordinators. A teacher can register several high school students who wish to participate in the competition free of charge. The total number of participants in the competition will be limited to 2,000 students of grades IX-XII, according to the regulations posted on the website.

All stages of the competition will be held via Kahoot! and Microsoft Teams. Each participant must have a computer and at least a smartphone connected to the Internet.

ASUS Learn and Compete competition schedule for 2024:

  • January 8 – February 1, 2024: Students of grades IX-XII in Bucharest who wish to participate in the challenge can be registered by the coordinating teacher by completing the online form on the website www.asuschallenge.ro.
  • February 6, 2024: Educators-coordinators can take part in an online workshop, during which the organizers present the ASUS Education portfolio, the rules and the method of conducting the competition.
  • February 8, 2024: Eligible students can visit the online workshop to know details about the competition and regulations.
  • February 12, 2024: The first stage of the competition is open to all eligible participants. After this online stage, the first 15 students will advance to the final according to their scores.
  • February 15, 2024: the second online stage will give another chance to the remaining contestants. Another 15 finalist students will be determined according to the stage ranking.
  • February 29, 2024: The final will be held in a physical format at a venue to be announced later. A maximum of 30 finalists will participate in the final stage.
  • February 29, 2024: After publishing the final ranking, the organizers will determine the winners who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Each of them will receive an ASUS laptop. At the same time, the teacher-coordinators of the winners will be announced, who will also be awarded an ASUS laptop.

ASUS will award the top 3 finalists as follows:

  • 1st place: ASUS ExpertBook B3 Flip (B3402)
  • 2nd place: ASUS BR1402
  • 3rd place: ASUS BR1402

ASUS will also reward teacher-coordinators of students for the first 3 places:

  • 1st place: ASUS BR1402
  • 2nd place: ASUS BR1402
  • 3rd place: ASUS BR1402

ASUS Learn and Compete 2024 continues to stimulate high school students’ interest in technology, ASUS Romania reaffirms its commitment to support digital education and provide interactive and competitive learning opportunities.
