
The number of old-age pension beneficiaries in November 2023 was 10,628, up 187 from the previous month, most of them former judges, according to data compiled by the National State Pension House, Agerpres said.
In the case of former magistrates, beneficiaries of Law 303/2004, the highest average pension for years of service was also recorded, 22,180 lei, of which 19,960 lei is the share covered from the state budget, and 5,645 lei from the state social insurance budget.
According to the CNPP, in November, 721 people took advantage of Law No. 216/2015 on the appointment of retirement pensions for members of the diplomatic and consular corps of Romania. The average amount of the pension was 5,824 lei, of which 2,575 lei came from the state budget.
As for the beneficiaries of Law 215/2015 on Amendments to Law 7/2006 on the Status of Parliamentary Civil Servants, their number was 730, the average pension was 5,053 lei (2,574 lei from the state budget).
According to the National State Pension Fund, 1,366 pensioners benefited from Law 83/2015 amending Law 223/2007 on the status of professional civil aeronautical personnel in the civil aviation of Romania, and the average pension was 11,547 lei, of which 7,517 lei is paid from the state budget.
577 people received long-term pensions for the beneficiaries of the Accounting Chamber, the average amount of which was 8,608 lei, of which 2,810 lei was allocated to the state budget.
In addition, 1,827 pensioners benefited from Law 130/2015 amending Law 567/2004 on the status of specialized support staff of courts and prosecutors’ offices, the average pension was 5,382 lei, of which 2,732 lei is paid from the state budget.
