500 million lei to continue some investment programs

Government spokesman Mihai Konstantin said that one of the three decisions adopted on Monday concerned the allocation of funds for the continuation of some investment programs.

He said that this is 500 million lei from the budget reserve fund available to the government to supplement the budgets of three development programs, namely: 175 million lei for the national program of local development, 100 million lei for the national investment program of Anghel Saligny, 200 million lei for the national public or social interest construction programs, another 25 million lei is allocated for commitments and budget credits, to finance personnel costs, and to pay the rest of the final judgments and irrevocable ones.

400 million lei for payment and refund claims

In another decision, the Government decided to add 400 million lei to the budget of the Ministry of Investments and European Projects for the current year from the reserve budget fund at the disposal of the Government to meet the submitted demands for payment or compensation. beneficiaries, for partial coverage of currently unavailable amounts, pending the clarification of the budget related to 2023.

Funds are needed to make payments to beneficiaries through the Regional Operational Program and the Major Infrastructure Operational Programme.

30 million lei for productive sports activities

Additional funds will also be allocated to support sports activities.

In this sense, the Government has decided to supplement the budget of the National Sports Agency with 30 million lei from the reserve budget fund at the disposal of the Government for expenses related to the months of September and October.

These funds are intended for concluding contracts with national sports federations regarding the financing of competitions, which are qualification criteria for the World Championships, European Championships and other competitions included in the international sports calendar, as well as for supporting activities in preparation for financing the pre-Olympic year, the government official said.
