One of the world’s most important auction appearances is Port Ellen Maltings, whose 12-year-old whiskey is less impressive than the rarity of the edition, bottled in just 40 examples, of which only 40 remain in collections today. several bottles The extraordinary rarity, the original price of which is 5,000 euros, was bottled on the occasion of the visit of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain to the Port Ellen distillery on August 9, 1980. On the occasion of the royal visit, a small amount of ca. 40 bottles of 70 ml, which were presented to the Queen and her relatives. Bottles from this special edition appear very rarely on the market and are sold at exceptional prices, they are valued not only for their extreme rarity, but also for their quality rating – this is the only whiskey to receive a rating of 99/100 points (awarded by whiskyFun.com). the highest award ever given by Serge Valentin, the leading authority in the world of collectible whisky.

One of the most popular wines in the world, Maison Leroy Auxey Duresses, is also up for sale as part of the Collection Whiskey, Wines and Cigars Auction. Maison Leroy is the most prestigious wine cellar in Burgundy. Madame Lalou Bizet-Leroy (who also owns the Romani Conti estate) is said to personally select each client for her wines. The starting price of a bottle of Maison Leroy 2018 is 500 euros.

Another exceptional appearance at the auction are two lots of 6 bottles of Chateau La Fleur Petrus, respectively 2011 and 2019, rated as the best Merlot wines in the world, with starting prices of €500 and €1,000 respectively. The wines offered at the auction are owned by one of the few collectors in Romania who benefit from the direct distribution of the famous château.

Very old collectible wines are impressive, such as: Chateau du Magne 1945, which starts at just €75, or Chateau Montbrun, Grand Vin de Bordeaux, 1937, which starts at just €50.

Another historic bottle is Cepa Semillon Extra, the starting price of which is only 75 euros. The wine was bottled in 1929 on the occasion of the Barcelona International Exhibition. We are pleased to remind you that at the same international exhibition Nicolae Vermont received a gold medal for the painting “Piano”, which later, almost a hundred years later, like the wine, was awarded at the Artmark summer auction in June. 2021 with a record price of 110,000 euros.

For the first time, Artmark auctions two barrels of unbottled wine, in this case batches from the Romanian winery Galicea Mare from two different years, 2018 and 2019. Both barrels are from Fetească Neagră, an old vine believed to be the oldest in Romania, and are labeled “Reserve owner”. The starting price of each of the two lots is EUR 8,000.
