Similar to those who turned to heat pumps, more and more Romanians are looking to install such panels in the hope that they can reduce their maintenance bills. But as is often the case with new technologies, the state appears to be gasping for air in a race to keep up with demand for support programs for those who want to generate their own energy.

The Green Photovoltaic House program, which was supposed to be a catalyst for such panels, paradoxically caused a big headache for Romanians who want to make money from the sun. But despite all these problems, thanks to the new program for 2023, the Romanian authorities hope that we will have more than 100 thousand consumers in Romania, that is, people who simultaneously consume and produce electricity.
