An amount of 5.16 billion euros from outstanding debts collected in 2022 tax office. The control mechanism, with modern tools and pressure, through electronic messages and telephone communication, managed to “put” the indicated amount into the state treasury. In total, taxpayers and businesses owed $7.96 billion in 2022, of which $7.29 billion is in unpaid taxes. At the same time, the tax inspectorate for protecting the interests of the state continued to apply enforcement measures against 79,446 taxpayers in 2022, bringing the total number of debtors whose bank accounts and assets were seized to 1,412,322 people. Especially:

• The amount of overdue debt (old until 2022 and new) reached 113.74 billion. Of these, 26.28 billion are considered bad, while the recoverable amount is limited to 87.46 billion. .e. % was included in some regulation scheme. Of the regulated balance, 53.5% are individuals and the remaining 46.5% are legal entities.

• Taxpayers with debts to the tax inspectorate amount to 3,990,717 people. In fact, enforcement measures were taken against 1,412,322 people. In 2022, 79,446 taxpayers and businesses were arrested.

It is noted that from the overdue balance:

• 46.5% relate to non-tax revenues (CBS fines, loans, etc.).

• 28.1% for indirect taxes (VAT, indirect tax penalties, etc.)

• 22.7% for direct taxes (taxes on profits, taxes on property, etc.)

• 2.7% relate to other non-tax income.
