
At 200 euros out of 150, the maximum allowance for hazardous and unhealthy work for workers in health sectoras well as for those who serve in Fire brigade. The increase is applied retroactively from January 1, 2023, while expanding the specialties of workers who can receive a specific allowance. According to joint ministerial decisions, the allowance for hazardous and unhealthy work in the state is determined in five new categories:
– First class: 200 euros from 150 euros.
– 2nd category: 165 euros from 105 euros.
– 3rd category: 150 euros from 70 euros.
– Category D: 105 euros from 35 euros.
– Category E: 70 euros from 30 euros.
Most hospital workers belong to the highest category. Nursing staff are still in allowance category A’, which is 200 euros instead of 150 euros, while hospital technicians now receive a higher allowance, between 70 and 150 euros.
In addition, new beneficiaries are joined by hospital staff from several specialties such as:
– Physiotherapists: 150 euros.
– Ergotherapists: 150 euros.
– Pharmacists: 150 euros.
– Pharmacist assistants: 150 euros.
– Dental technicians: 150 euros.
– Public Health Surveillance: 105 euros.
Also, a grant of 200 euros will be received by:
a) seasonal workers of the fire department, with fixed-term private labor relations, hired as a fire engine driver.
b) seasonal firefighters, with fixed-term private labor relations, hired as a fire and rescue worker.
c) Five-Year Commitment (PPY) firefighters with a fixed-term public employment relationship of five years, hired without qualifications and performing the duties of a fire engine driver.
d) firefighters with a five-year duty (PPG), with a fixed-term employment relationship in accordance with administrative law for a period of five years, hired without qualifications and performing the duties of a combat firefighter.
For all four categories, the number of beneficiaries is estimated to be approximately 5,000.
