They are Mr. Philippos Kontaxis as President of the company, an executive with a long career in real estate development, and Ms. Katerina Zoannou, a civil engineer with a postgraduate degree in service management, in the position of Managing Director.

It should be noted that the special purpose vehicle EFKA was provided in the recent law No. 4892/2022 for the use of its real estate, which has at least 400 properties throughout the country, with a total objective value of more than $1 billion. Euro. In fact, it is estimated that at least 20% of real estate of great value is currently used with great difficulty. It is also expected that through the wise use of property, modernization of buildings that already host EFKA services will be achieved.

The main priorities of the new specialized company are the immediate registration and separation of existing ones. EFKA properties, those that are intended for immediate sale, those that are intended for personal use and those that will attract landlords – investors through a long-term lease. Of course, many of them could be used for tourism. For many of them, he has already instructed appraisers from the register of the Ministry of Finance to prepare studies on their rental and market value, as well as proposals for their most effective use for the organization.
