During the briefing of the Commission, he mentioned the Kleisoura Tunnel, emphasizing that “this is an extremely important project for Western Macedonia with an initial budget of 57 million euros, funded by the Public Investment Program. It includes the construction of a new provincial road with a length of 10.4 km, which is part of the axis of the Kastoria – Ptolemaida road, on the border of the prefectures of Kastoria and Florina, and ends at the border of the prefecture of Kozani.

The Rafina Stream demarcation project is of particular importance because, as the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure mentioned, “along with the settlement of the Eschatia Stream, they represent the two largest major flood prevention projects in Attica. Two railway projects of interest to the Committee are the construction of new stations and the electrification of the Rododafni-Rio section, as well as the modernization of the Paleofarsalos-Kalambaka line.

According to Mr. Karagiannis, “these four projects amount to approximately 300 million euros and add to the “many important projects that we are implementing throughout the country, and make up a large program of 13 billion euros throughout the country.”

  • Construction of 3 railway stations in Psathopyrgos, Arachovitika and Rio.

  • Construction of electric propulsion system, etc.

The temporary bidder is the association of business entities “TERNA – MYTILINEOS” with an average implied discount of 8.29% and a total offer of 129.5 million euros.

The total time for completion of all civil works under the project is 36 months for the construction period T1 and 36 months for the second maintenance period T2.

Briefly, the tasks to be performed are as follows:

  • Implementation of the electrification system for the Paleofarsalos Kalambaka line.
  • Construction of necessary telecommunication systems.
  • Construction of railway infrastructure and superstructure in the Sofades area, where a 650-meter flyover (i.e. siding) will be built.
  • Construction of a wharf in the Sofades area to serve the population, the dimensions of which correspond to the existing one, as well as the installation of lighting and two elevators on the existing footbridge.
  • Major repairs and minor repairs of the existing buildings of Sofades, Karditsa, Trikala and Kalambaka stations.
  • Installation of electric heating of track permutations at st. Paleofarsalos with their food from VL, etc.

AVAX was announced as a temporary bidder with an average implied discount of 11.20% and a total offer of approximately €52.2 million.

The deadlines for completing the project are also the same here, i.e. 36 months for the construction period T1 and 36 months for the second maintenance period T2.

At the same time, individual construction provides for:

  • 4 uneven knots,
  • 1 bridge across the Koturi stream,
  • 4 underground passages
  • 2 buildings on the facades of the tunnel and the most important individual project of the 1.3 km Klaisoura tunnel.

Aktoras became a temporary bidder with an average discount of 16.72%, a total project cost of €47.7 million (excluding VAT) and a 3-year construction schedule.

The proposed work on the development of the Rafina stream covers a length of approximately 15 kilometers, from its mouth to Spaton Avenue, and the streams flowing into it Kallitechnoupoli, Valanari, Paleo Milos and Ag. Friday.

The project plans to expropriate more than 700,000 square meters of land, as well as separate projects for the relocation of telecommunications networks, water supply, water supply, electricity supply, and archaeological research.

The temporary contractor was INTRAKAT with an implied discount of 12.20% and a proposed total cost of the project of EUR 60.1 million (excluding VAT).
