The second phase is now beginning, so that by the end of 2023, the digital card will be used by all enterprises in all sectors of the private sector.
In particular, the second stage of the implementation of the digital labor card begins with the process of enumeration of all employees. The process has been postponed to November 1 (from October 1 originally announced). The decision to transfer was made due to the fact that from October 1 to October 31, companies continue to electronically submit the annual staffing table (E4 form) with all the data on the employees they hired to the Ergani information system.
Thus, from November 1 to 30, the process of inventorying the digital organization of working time will be carried out by all employers in the country and for all their employees who have contractual or dependent labor relations, including temporary staff. The goal is to appear immediately, in Information system “Ergani”planned working hours for each employee, branch or enterprise in digital calendar format.
Specifically, in digital form, in the form of a calendar, the organization of working hours, working hours, declared overtime, issuance of permits, etc. will be controlled. Yes, through the app myErgani mobile application and through the myERGani web portal (https://myERGani.gov.gr), the electronic calendar will be immediately available to the employee.
It should be noted that the digital work card has been fully implemented since last July in banks and supermarkets with more than 250 employees, with an application rate of 94.74%.
The supermarket adoption rate is 95.93% as 84,622 employees out of a total of 88,209 use the card (89,107 minus 898 employees in responsible positions). In five chains, the percentage reaches 100%.
In banks, the digital work card is used by 26,598 out of 29,181 employees (32,206 minus 3,025 in responsible positions), i.e. percentage 91.15%. In 14 credit institutions, the application rate is 100%.
The fact that the implementation rate has not yet reached 100% is mainly due to the introduction, especially in banks, of a remote work-telework system, the introduction of voluntary exit schemes (according to which the process of updating P.S. “Instrument” in relation to the decisions of the relevant employment contracts ), in cases of long-term leave, and the fact that very few companies have yet to start implementing the measure.
