This December 26, 2023 is a somewhat special day for Nissanas the Japanese manufacturer will be celebrating its 90 years old existence! During this year, Nissan organized several colorful events to mark this important anniversary, and also decided to make a symbolic donation on the eve of the Christmas holidays.

A French subsidiary of a Japanese company actually carried out a donation of 90 cars of its assortment, which were delivered to 68 French educational institutions in the automotive industry.

Many Nissan cars for training future professionals

with many models Nissans were selected for this operation: Juke, Qashqai, X-Trail, Leaf, not forgetting two copies of the legendary GT-R, were transferred to vocational and technical schools, student training centers, universities, etc.

These automotive training institutions are located in many regions of Francein particular in the Cote d’Or, Dordogne, Doux, Landes, Mertes and Moselle and Moselle.

With this initiative, Nissan is investing in and supporting the future of the French automotive industry training of future young specialists sector. Thanks to this donation of these 90 vehicles, future apprentices of mechanics, technicians and engineers will be able to discover, understand and study the latest technologies, particularly in terms of electrification.

Investments in the future

This initiative is part of the Ambition 2030 plan, which defines Nissan’s long-term vision. There training young people in the automotive sectorand their awareness of the technological and environmental challenges of tomorrow are important points for Nissan as it strives to become a more cohesive, safer, cleaner and more sustainable company.
