There Xiaomi MS11 it becomes clearer: the user of the Chinese social network Xiaohongshu published new spy photos, in which we discovered the body of the prototype of the future 100% electric Chinese sedan with some details of its interior.

This is the future a competitor to the Tesla Model 3 looks still camouflaged here, but we can already see that its lines match the leaked photos of the MS11 revealed a few months ago.

Xiaomi’s future electric car is getting clearer

In these photos we can see quite smooth lines future 100% electric sedan from Xiaomi, the location of the door handles is level or even the location of the hatch for the charging socket located in the left rear of the car. On the trunk, the two taillights are joined together by an elegant style line that facilitates the design of the rear. An extractor style rear skirt completes the lines of this stern.

Arrival is scheduled for 2024

Xiaomi officially announced its intention to produce cars in March 2021 with an initial investment of 10 billion yuan, equivalent to 1.28 billion eurosand also approx 10 billion euros invest in the next ten years. The first production car is expected to roll off the assembly lines of the Xiaomi factory in 2024 with annual production capacity 150,000 cars.

According to the latest rumors from China, about 50 prototype test cars are already leaving the Xiaomi factory every week. Certification tests by MIIT, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, which is responsible for vehicle approvals in China, are expected by the end of 2023.

Sales of Xiaomi MS11 should take place before the first half of 2024 in China: its price is expected to be around 300,000 yuan, which is equivalentabout 38,500 euros. The model should then be immediately exported to other markets, including Europe.
