More than twenty years have passed since the birth of the “Fast and Furious” saga. And not for nothing, it was in 2001 that the first opus was released. It now includes no fewer than 11 feature films and two short films, and has enjoyed worldwide success since its debut. Unsurprisingly, the producers are using the latter and making the most of the franchise. That’s how the 10th opus started a few days ago, the total amount of which has already reached several hundred million dollars world cash register. A real success for a saga that is now coming to an end.

A small change
Indeed, after the opus that is currently showing in cinemas, the last episode will see the light of day in 2025. It will Fast and Furious 11, which should wrap up this saga, which is over twenty years old and still brings together some stellar actors. Among them is Vin Diesel, who also produced several episodes. For the last two, it is the French Louis Leterier, who notably produced The Transporter or Elsewhere, Who’s in Charge. And the latter would be an avid lover of French cars. When asked by Le Parisien, the latter explains that he is not in the Fast and Furious films. But that has to change.
Iconic car
He claims that ” I promise that there will be a Renault 5 in the next movie […] Let’s see how we will get there and what the scenario will be“. News that should please fans of French cars, as well as Renault, which was just due to release its electric Renault 5. Will the director collaborate with the French brand? This obviously remains a possibility, but nothing has been announced. Several European cars are still present in the saga, for example Ferrari F360 Spider.
