
BMW continues its transition to its 100% electric future with the presentation of the new BMW i7 M70the most powerful version of the BMW i7, its 100% electric 7 Series.
It is also the third BMW M model with a 100% electric motor. BMW i7 M70 will be presented on shanghai fairwhich will be held in China from April 18 to 27, 2023. Then it will be launched in the second half of 2023.
BMW i7 M70: 660 electric horsepower
Its styling is distinguished by several signature BMW M elements, such as special mirrors, side sills and rear apron, which can be supplemented with additional items such as the M Performance Pack or even a wide palette of more than 100 body colors. The interior features illuminated door sills, leather upholstery, a leather steering wheel, special M displays on the touch screen of the BMW iDrive system and even a driver’s footrest.
Technically, the BMW i7 M70 comes with two electric motorswhich allows you to offer electric four-wheel drive: the first electric motor, located on the front axle, develops 489 horsepower, and the second, located at the rear, 258 horsepower.
Overall, this version of the M70 offers combined power 660 horsepower and 1,015 Nm of torque that can reach 1100 Nm by activating the Sport Boost and Launch Control functions. Performances are announced on 3.7 seconds for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/hall for a maximum speed of 250 km/h.
BMW i7 M70: range up to 560 km
Battery, capacity 101.7 kWhallows the car to display a range of 488 to 560 kilometers, according to different WLTP cycles. Thanks to the Max Range function, the user can also increase their autonomy by 15-25% by limiting the power and maximum speed.
The BMW i7 M70 is compatible with an AC charging power of up to 22 kW 195 kW direct current, which allows you to restore approximately 170 km of autonomy in 10 minutes of recharging at a high-power terminal. Technically, the BMW i7 M70 is equipped with adaptive air suspension, full power steering or even sports braking and 21-inch M light-alloy wheels.
