Refueling a car has never been a pleasure for drivers. But in the last few months it has become a real test. And for good reason, prices skyrocketed more than a year, but this is not the only reason. Indeed, drivers also have to deal with strikes that lead to shortages at service stations. This is exactly what is happening now because of the pension reform that the government has introduced.
The French are punished by supply interruptions at service stations.

Reduction in production
Therefore, it is very difficult to find fuel, especially in Ile-de-France. But the latter can become more expensive. And it is not for nothing that the main oil-producing countries decided so reduce their production and therefore their export from May. This is especially true for Iraq, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. In total, about a million barrels less will be produced each day, excluding Russia, which will also cut its exports. A decision aimed at compensation falling price of a barrel.
Future promotion
And whoever says that there is less oil, says that prices are rising. Indeed, demand is still very strong, especially in France, despite strikes and other shortages. The price of unleaded has already skyrocketed by about 2.5 cents last week, and this new decision won’t help. In addition, demand is expected to grow bridges of the month of May and the arrival of the holiday. Especially since the fuel surcharge of 100 euros, established by the government, has ended.
