Speeding can happen to any of us. And sometimes it happens that we really have a good reason, even if it is not always a good reason for the police, when we are detained. Fear of being late or urgent for work at home. But very often this does not go well with the police, who then quickly put a nice face on us. fine, in addition to deducting valuable points from us based on the speed at which we were caught. But the story we are telling you about, as you will see, is unusual to say the least. Because if the driver apparently has a good reason to speed, but there is one detail that is wrong…
Sometimes it happens that the radar highlights a speeding driver, but he does not receive a traffic ticket! https://t.co/eNzBECUAIE?utm_campaign=post-auto&utm_medium=twitter

A big overshoot
The events are unfolding on October 12, but it was only now reported to the press. Gendarmes of the Bomet Motorized Brigade in Vaucluse quietly check the speed on the road. Everything looks quite calm, and motorists respect the current limit. But suddenly, around seven in the morning, the police notice a car driving too fast. And it is confirmed so far flashed at 132 km/h, maintained 125 km/h. The problem is, the driver is not on the highway, but on a simple departmental road limited to 80 km/h.
Amazing excuse
The story does not end there, as the motorist refuses to stop and the gendarmes chase him. And there one of them recognizes him, since he took away his license a few days ago. Nothing is wrong with the driver, he justifies his behavior and speeding by saying that he was afraid of being late for signing the CDI. Tested positive for cocaine and cannabis, the driver will unfortunately have to find another job, while he was sentenced to 18 months in prison, so 12 farms with electronic bracelet.
