The German publication also writes that the electric Puma could cost somewhere around 36,000 euros.

The Ford Puma has been the brand’s best-selling model in Europe for the past two years, especially since the Fiesta exited the scene. JATO data shows that Puma gained 77,000 customers in Europe in the first half of 2023, ranking 17th best-selling car on the continent. Puma and Kuga became Ford’s best sellers in Europe in the first six months of this year (more than 40% of the brand’s total sales volume).
Ford Puma EV will compete with Opel Mokka and Peugeot e-2008.
In 2022, the Ford plant in Kraiów was seized by the Turks from Ford Otosan. Last summer, Ford Otosan announced an investment of 490 million euros, which will be implemented by 2025. Thus, the total production capacity of the Craiova plant will increase from 250,000 cars/year to 272,000 cars/year.
Ford has started producing Transit Courier and Tourneo Courier models in Kraiów in diesel and petrol versions, and from this year electric versions will also be produced under the names E-Transit Courier and E-Tourneo Courier.
